CLUB CHARITY RUNS
Every year Westland Classic Motorcycle Club organise three main motorbike runs called The Spirit of the Sixties, The Coast to Coast and the Sunflower Run supporting three worthy charities - Yeovil Freewheelers, Headway and St Margaret's Hospice.
Each run is well supported in terms of entrants and marshals, both of which we really appreciate.
Details of each run can be found below and please check the calendar for future Charity Runs.
SPIRIT OF THE SIXTIES
The Spirit Run is organised by John Dodge in aid of Yeovil Freewheelers (blood bikes). The Freewheelers provide a free courier service for local hospitals to deliver, free of charge, essentials i.e. blood, scans, etc saving the NHS thousands of pounds a year.

The Coast to Coast
This is the oldest motorcycle run by the Club and is now organised by Richard Brann. It starts at Lyme Regis and finishes in Burnham-on-Sea raising money for Headway improving lives after a brain injury.

The Sunflower Run
This Charity run is fairly new to the Club and is organised by Tony Haywood and Mike Axe. It starts and finishes at our clubhouse Chilthorne Domer Recreation Club. It takes in the surrounding countryside with a stop at Total Triumph for sticky buns and coffee in aid of St Margaret's Hospice - who need no introduction.
