     Spirit of Motorcycling Run 2025

Hi All!

We have now been organising the very successful ‘Spirit of the Sixties’ and 'Coast to Coast' charity motorcycle runs for classic motorcycles for well in excess of 30 years.

Unfortunately, we have been unable to find an organiser for the 'Coast to Coast' run this year and so we are unable to offer it as a separate event.

Further, over the years we have noticed that entrants are increasingly requesting the option to ride newer machines on both of these runs.

For 2025 we are therefore offering a combined run and we are changing the concept this year to allow all ages and types of motorcycle to enter. Appropriately, we are re-naming it ‘The Spirit of Motorcycling’.  Whilst the run will remain totally suitable for all older and for small capacity bikes, the route will maintain the variety of roads that can be enjoyed by any age and type of bike and rider.

Our chosen charities will continue to be the Yeovil Freewheelers EVS (often referred to as the Blood Bikes) and Headway Somerset. All proceeds from the run will be donated to them.

Please, tell your friends and come and help us make this run as successful as our previous charity events! 

PLEASE NOTE: THE VENUE FOR THE LUNCH STOP ON THE SPIRIT OF MOTORCYCLING RUN WILL NOT BE THE DONKEY SANCTUARY. WE ARE INVESTIGATING ANOTHER LOCATION WHICH WILL BE NOTIFIED IN THE FINAL INSTRUCTIONS. THE OVERALL DISTANCE WILL BE SIMILAR.
